“What would you drink right now?” The man asked. His eyes were nearly unblinking as he waited for an answer.
“Well…” Wen Ning began, quickly realizing he wasn’t much for drinking. He considered lying but had a feeling this stranger would see right through him. His lips settled into a nervous chuckle. Lights from the bar flashed before his eyes, forcing his eyes to squint. He glanced back at the stranger. “I guess I’m not much of a drinker.”
The man blinked, for what seemed the first time, his lips pulled into a triumphant smile. “I knew it, I noticed that.” The same light from the bar flashed across his eyes, exposing the inky gray color of his irises. A storm rose inside of them, Wen Ning would swear this.Series

Summary
Class 5-C. Wen Ning’s smile grew wider and, after one last glance, slid the door open, carefully closing it behind herself. Rows and rows of desks filled the small room, backpacks hung on the sides of all of them. With careful eyes, Wen Ning glanced at all of them before gasping when she found the one she was looking for. Cream-colored, perfectly-clean, and with its very own fan keychain on the side.
Slowly, Wen Ning navigated the maze of desks, before pulling the flap of Nie Huaisang’s bag open. With one last look at the drawing, Wen Ning ensured it was great before making any rash decisions. A girl was etched on the inside, drawn with inspiration from Wen Ning’s very own mind. The girl was in a uniform, messy locks framing the figure, with the top button of the collared shirt unbuttoned as it always was.
Folding it once, Wen Ning dropped the paper into the bag. A voice snapped her out of her moment, pulling a sharp flinch out of her.
“Anyone else would think you’re being creepy.” The voice was soft, and rich, like the tones of an ancient piano passed down through generations. Fiddling with her fingers, Wen Ning glanced back at the door. It was open, Nie Huaisang standing with narrowed eyes before it.
