    Alternatively, Maple and Sally get isekai-ed ending up in a world not too different from NWO. The biggest difference? How stats work. Everything matters at least a little, meaning Maple's first instinct of pouring everything into vitality isn't just a bad idea, it's outright insane! As not having anything else makes things tricky for her. Sally's got it worse though. Vitality does determine some things, and what it does determine is something she already struggles with

    Wow, there are only two other Monster Development Department fics out there. That's a tragedy, but I am glad to add mine to the list. You do not need to have seen Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department to enjoy this fic, but I highly recommend watching it, because it is a funny anime that you will probably enjoy especially if you liked Bofuri. If you do not watch Monster Development first then you will be missing out on parts of this story and will not be getting the full experience, but I did try to make this somewhat accessible to all.

    Esta es la historia de nuestra adorable, pero peligrosa, Kaede Honjo. O comúnmente conocida dentro de esa realidad virtual, Maple. Kaede vivía la vida simple ser una chica de secundaria, con alguna pizca de diversión por el juego New World Online donde se libera de sus responsabilidades y toma el rol de su personaje, Maple.

    Maple era un imán de coincidencias como suertes cuestionables desde que entró a NWO; convirtiéndose en solo unos pocos meses, en la jugadora más popular por su indistinguible defensa como Habilidades rotas.

    Lo que no se sabía, es que dicho 'imán' trajera más cosas a la vida de Kaede. Fate era un drama queen que buscaba la diversión como el entretenimiento en las creaciones de Life, por ello no era sorpresa que el mismo cambiara el rumbo del destino de Kaede. Usando su gran influencia, no fue difícil hacer los preparativos y hacer la 'trampa' perfecta en atraer a la pequeña escudera que atrajo su atención.

    Enemigos de todos lados tendrán la mirada fija encima de ella, sin amigos y con una 'misión' ambigua, ella haría lo posible en sobrevivir en dicho lugar desconocido lleno de cazadores y bestias oscuras.
