Could also be 854139 times Tunan tucks Ruolai into bed, apparently? But I think is sort of more loosely about all the times they carried each other throughout multiple missing moments of canon; hence, the fic title.

Then Ruolai's steady gaze was on him, and Tunan couldn't stop himself from inhaling deeply. Notes of citrus, roses, and fresh herbs suffused the air. And underlying it all — that sweet, dewy, unmistakable scent that any qianyuan would inherently know.
Just the faintest whiff, and Tunan was sure he had not smelled anything this heady before in his life. His qianyuan prowled in his chest, seeking, wanting more, eager and willing to fight for it. A surge of arousal effortlessly bloomed in Tunan's abdomen, quickly spreading throughout his body. The fine hairs of his skin rose to stand on end, and his mouth went dry.
