Gortash seizes the opportunity to make Tav his ~personal~ paladin, after she has a crisis of faith.
“Please,” she whispered as they walked down the nave.
“Please?” he repeated, “I thought you were ready to declare your choice.”
She declared weakly, “I am.”
“Then act like it,” he warned before announcing to the clergy to clear the hall. As they crossed the transept, he could feel her trembling. Gortash brought her towards the altar and she fell to her knees. -
