Summary
A kiss in the rain, borrowed clothes, quiet laughter in a hotel room as the city lights flickered outside—just one night, but it was enough to burn itself into Chris’s memory, enough to make the world feel too quiet without him.
They promised to find each other again, somehow, someday, despite the tours, oceans, and time zones. Because some people you only meet once, and they change you forever—and even distance can’t drown out the way it feels when you know, deep down, that you’ve found something real.

Summary
“So do you want to go to the beach with me or not?”
Chan doesn’t know what coaxes him to smile at the college student but he does and he sits upright. so now he and Jeongin are closer than complete strangers should be. Jeongin blinks at him, innocent and a little surprised, but he smiles once again when Chan nods. “Sure. Let’s go right now?”
“You’re serious?” Jeongin beams. Chan observes how the whites of his eyes disappear completely when he smiles that wide to the point that his eyes turn into twin slits.
“Are you?”
“I am! But are you?”
Jeongin is giving Chan a way out because there is no way he’s letting Chan go once they leave this bus stop and hop on to what ever vehicle will take them to Daecheon. Chan laughs again and Jeongin feels himself relax at the sincerity in Chan’s features. “Why not? I don’t have work tomorrow and the beach sounds like a good idea all of a sudden.”

Summary
Then he takes out the other document he requested, which, if he were being honest, he totally forgot about.
The certificate is printed on card paper, not the thin, almost flimsy paper that his birth certificate and their parents’ marriage certificate are normally printed on. There’s that standard seemingly random pattern printed on the sheet, faint specks of yellow that look decorative, but Jeongin knows it’s a layer of proof that the certificate is legitimate.
Automatically, his eyes skim over the printed letters, his still-sleepy brain half-engaged.
Name: Yang Jeongin
Date of birth: February 8, 2001
His eyes move down the page, mentally ticking off every correct detail—
“Huh?”
For a moment, the words refuse to organize themselves into meaning, even as it’s the only thing occupying the lower two-thirds of the page.
Spouse: Bang Christopher Chan
Date of Marriage Registration—
Two years ago. Almost three.
His blood runs cold.
He reads it again.
Really, it's ridiculous. How could Jeongin and Chan have been married this entire time?
