Summary
“You always smell so good…” Phoenix sighed blissfully as he leaned to rest his head on Kristoph's nimble shoulders.
Kristoph cards his slender fingers through the other man’s spiky hair, he gracefully took off the beanie and tossed it gently to the couch.
“Did I ever tell you that I love you?” Phoenix mumbled, half drunk half sleepy.
“No, you did not,” Kristoph replied, tone even.
“I don't think I'd ever will.”
Kristoph understood the feeling was mutual after all, so why did he have a heartache and his hands go loose, Phoenix took this as an odd sign to drag the tall blonde to his bedroom.

Trucy is performing a special Valentine's show at the Wonder Bar, and Edgeworth is in Europe, like he always is. So there's really no harm in Phoenix inviting Kristoph along to accompany him – after all, he'll do anything to support his little girl.
And he knows Trucy so well. He knows that if she wants to tell him she approves, she'll find a way.

Summary
Five years after Phoenix Wright's disbarment, Kristoph is... comfortable. Comfortable enough to hire an intern; comfortable enough to get a dog. Comfortable enough to know that he's not getting sloppy, he's just getting better. It's why he can do things like invite Phoenix inside his home, pour him a glass of wine, introduce him to his new labrador retriever, who failed the police K9 exam for being too suspicious.
You know what they say. Dogs; their owners. Phoenix Wright is a litmus test for both.
