Summary
It isn’t the soft laugh he loves to hear from women, far from it. The mannerless oaf doesn’t laugh so much as he barks his joy out loud, harsh and sudden, erupting from his chest in an honest rush of emotion.

Summary
A love that supersedes all love, the soulmate. It was one of the few fragments people had garnered from the void century. Some old writings detailing how the gods once in their anger split all natural beings in half, punishing them to roam the land and the seas in search of their missing piece.
Sanji lived for the stories of lovers finding one another against all odds, yet when he met Zoro's eyes, he questioned if he could covet something that could never be his.
(Otherwise known as: a ZoSan "soulmate" story in three acts.)

Summary
Roronoa Zoro thought he had mastered the art of pretending he hadn’t fallen in love with that damn cook. That he hadn’t slowly but surely found himself wanting to make him smile just as much as he wanted to antagonize him. That his heart didn’t do a stupid little somersault on the rare occasion that Sanji gave him a compliment. That he hadn’t been seeking out more and more late-night talks on rooftops sharing a bottle of whatever booze they had on hand. Yes, he had been doing an excellent job ignoring all of that. Well, he was, until he couldn’t.
It had all gone to shit three days ago.
