Then they started a heated discussion, and Neuvillette’s voice got progressively colder and colder while Zhongli’s got dangerously close to a growl. Then, Zhongli snapped something and gesticulated at their surroundings, and Neuvillette pressed his lips together. When the latter spoke up again, his tone was flat but lacked the previous fury.
Zhongli’s posture immediately relaxed and he turned to Jing Yuan, his incredible golden eyes shining warmly. “Our sincerest apologies. It does seem that we accidentally ended up on a different world during a… magical mishap.”

Will huffed, cheeks burning. Will’s eyes darted involuntarily to the centre of the room. Max and El were squished together on an armchair. Mike was sprawled on the carpet with Dustin and Lucas, waving his arms around dramatically as he argued about which Star Wars film was objectively the best. His hair was a mess. His cheeks were flushed. He was smiling.
And Will felt that stupid expanding warmth in his chest that he couldn’t get rid of no matter how hard he tried.

Post-Vecna, Will and Robin continue to bond. Robin knows Will likes Mike. Mike thinks Will likes Robin.

The situation he was in hit him all at once. How he was standing there in front of a crowd, hugging the man who he had spent the past few months convincing himself, meant nothing to him.
He didn’t understand what was happening or what he was feeling. Of course, part of the situation made sense to him. He wasn’t a completely heartless monster, so he wasn’t questioning why he felt panic at the thought of Dan hurting himself or, even worse, dying.
