Straightening up on his seat, Xiao Zhan marginally feels bad for slightly crumpling one of the student’s papers, before pushing it away and reaching for another. He blinks through the growing fog in his brain, forcing himself to keep grading and not give in. He's stronger than this. He can do it.
Suddenly, there's a knock on his door, followed by a familiar voice, "Dr. Xiao, are you in?"

Xiao Zhan slapped his hands away before he could say anything, looking like he was trying to take the tension that just skyrocketed back down to normalcy. "Okay, I get it now, Yibo." He chuckled, as if it could make Wang Yibo forget what just happened.
