Almost without his own say-so, he finds himself scrolling down the list of his Line chats. Down, down, down: and there is Kuroo. The last message in their chat is Kuroo’s, from almost two years ago. A simple, sorry, things are a bit busy, on the heel end of months of silence. Kenma never figured out how to reply in a way that wouldn’t split his torso wide open and reveal his barely-beating heart; Kuroo never sent another text.
Or: Kuroo stops texting for reasons he won't name, and Kenma starts pretending he's fine without him. He is, but he's also very much not.

"
Kenma jumped in his seat, spine suddenly rigid at the touch. He relaxed back into the seat and Kuroo’s arms when he turned his head and realised it was only him. Kenma went stiff again as he remembered he was still very much live, very much un-muted, and very much showing his entire fanbase his, yes his, sleepy boyfriend leaning his chin on his shoulder over the back of the chair.Just as he was about to tell Kuroo as such, and hopefully repair as much damage as possible, Kuroo moved his head just a bit further forward on his shoulder and whispered into Kenma’s ear, “It is too early. Shut the fuck up and come back to bed.”
The tired rasp of his voice sent shivers down Kenma’s spine, causing him to hesitate for a second before trying to speak again. But Kuroo assumed his hesitation was due to not wanting to come back to bed, and pulled out the big guns.

Kuroo gets woken up by Kenma playing a video game, kisses him on the neck to try to get him to come back to bed, then realises Kenma is live streaming and he just revealed their relationship.

Summary
“God, I missed you,” Kuroo breathes as he brings his arms around him and rests his chin on top of Kenma’s head. There’s no teasing in Kuroo’s voice, no smirk Kenma can hear without having to look at him. Just honesty, and a little bit of vulnerability.
But as the sensation of Kuroo blanketing him settles over him, Kenma’s heart starts to race, and he’s overwhelmed in a way that’s completely foreign to him.

When Kuroo leaves for college, Kenma realizes just how much he relied on Kuroo as his source of physical affection. But once they're reunited, Kuroo's touch manages to feel like both too much and not enough.
