A sudden shock of rage went through him. It disappeared before he had time to lash out. The Colonel’s voice was always close to automail on a chalkboard to him—especially when he couldn’t call him by his name. Ed could faintly hear Alphonse voice chatting up with the team outside the door. He figured if he could just pretend there wasn’t a child that looked frighteningly similar to him in the room, then it’d all go away and he’d go back to searching for the philosopher’s stone.
