    Summary

If That Is True is a brutal, storm-soaked Destiel fic set over one long night in a ruined church after a hunt goes wrong.

Trapped together, injured, furious, and unable to escape each other, Dean and Cas are finally forced to tear open years of anger, silence, dependence, sacrifice, and want.

What starts as an argument about Cas putting himself in harms way ends up with Dean being dragged into naming the truth he has spent years choking down, and Cas answers not with comfort, but with furious, angelic precision.

This is a story about love as accusation, desire as contamination, and the kind of confession that does not heal the wound — it just makes it impossible to lie about anymore.

    Inspired by two songs;

Love is Going to Kill Us by David Kushner

    Bookmarker's Notes

"You accuse me of making unilateral decisions. And yet for years you have expected my presence as though it were a law of nature. You call, I come. You pray, I answer. You need, I appear. You bleed, I carry. You rage, I remain.”

"It means you want my loyalty, my presence, my obedience to your fear. You want me to remain within reach, to answer when called, to trust that your anger is care and your care is enough. And perhaps sometimes it is." His mouth tightened. "But you do not get to build a home out of my devotion while refusing to admit you live there."

"Do you know what it is like to be your place of refuge, your emergency contact, your miracle, your blunt instrument, your witness, your penance-" His voice tightened for the first time. " and still be left outside the truth of your life as though I should be grateful for access to the perimeter?"

"You do not react this way to every danger. You do not watch every injured person as if they are a lit fuse in your hands. You do not station yourself in doorways, track breath, catalogue bruises, or react to touch like"
    (...)
Dean said, too fast, "Like what?"
    (...)
"Like a man whose body has made a decision his mouth is still trying to sabotage."

"You cannot bear the thought of my leaving, but that still isn't the shape of your panic when Il stay too close either."

"Then what the hell do you want?" he snapped. "You Want me to say the ugly part so you can hear how bad it sounds?"
Cas's eyes flashed. "Do not call loving me ugly because you are ashamed of it."

"You do not get to tell me that knowledge of your love was the danger I could not survive when I survived rebellion, war, exile, and becoming unrecognizable to my own kind. The danger was not the love. It was being made to live inside its consequences without ever being granted its name."

    Summary

Post-canon, Dean and Cas are living together in the bunker, but the silence between them has become unbearable. Dean wants Cas with a desperation he can’t name, and Cas—tired of it—stops pretending he doesn’t see it. After a hunt, the violence already simmering between them finally breaks open, dragging everything hidden to the surface.

What follows is not softness, at least not at first. It is want expressed through force, trust disguised as resistance, and Dean learning that being taken is not the same as being broken. Cas refuses to give him an easy way out when what Dean is really asking for is to be known completely.

As the line between fighting and wanting collapses, they have to figure out what this new language between them actually means.

    Summary

When Dean swipes right on Castiel, he expects the usual—some playful banter, maybe a date, nothing serious. But from the first message, Castiel is different. He’s sharp, confident, and knows exactly what to say to leave Dean restless and wanting. Their chemistry crackles through the screen, teasing turning into something charged, something neither of them can ignore. But when they meet in person, Dean realizes he’s not just flirting with trouble—he’s walking straight into it.

    **

Dean: So, do you just come with the warning label, or should I start drafting one myself? Something like: “Caution—may cause shortness of breath, excessive blushing, and uncontrollable moaning.”

Castiel: I bet the sounds you make are as pretty as you are.

    **

    Yeah, he's definitely in trouble.

Under Construction!! Going through the first few chapters because the format is all in italics.

    Summary

Jayce didn’t come to teach at Piltover University to develop a minor (read: major) obsession with Viktor, but here he is. The man is infuriatingly brilliant, dryly condescending, and has probably already dismissed Jayce as an overeager idiot. Fine. Jayce can live with that. What he can’t live with is the fact that he keeps seeking Viktor out anyway—asking too many questions, reading too many of his papers, lingering in his presence like some lovesick grad student. This isn’t a crush. It’s an intellectual challenge. At least, that’s what he’s telling himself.

    or

Jayce Talis, a young and ambitious professor, gets an opportunity he didn’t dare dream about - teaching at the Piltover Tech University. There, he meets Viktor - a slightly older, respected and extremely reserved colleague of his. Jayce is somewhat intrigued with the man, his studies in particular. He finds the way Viktor’s brain works fascinating - like his opinions and theories are somehow a puzzle piece that would complete Jayce’s own research. Jayce’s academic interest, though, turns into infatuation and full-blown obsession with the man rather than his studies.
