Summary
The bathroom door was already cracked, but Eddie liked his showers to match the temperatures in hell, so walking into the bathroom was like entering a sauna. He cleared his throat. Eddie was standing, hair still dripping a little, in his “comfy” boxers, toothbrush in his mouth. Steve was impressed; he hadn’t even had to tell Eddie to brush his teeth. Maybe he wasn’t as drunk as Robin was tonight.
Then, Eddie giggled, booped Steve on the nose, and pointed at the steamed-up mirror. Steve looked. There, in the middle of the mirror, was a large dick, with a helpful “penis” written next to it in Eddie’s hand, in case one might be confused by the image.
“Penis,” Steve deadpanned.
Eddie giggled again.
Steve took it back. He was definitely just as drunk as Robin was.
Or, Steve, Eddie, and Robin live together. It's Steve's turn to play Designated Driver and everything is fine, totally fine, until he finds Eddie in his bed.

"In the meantime," Steve says, before Eddie can begin to say goodbye. "Are we still on for tomorrow night?"
Eddie can't fight the smile that crosses his face, and he pulls a strand of hair over his mouth to try and hide it. "Uh, yeah, yep. Same time, same place."
Steve looks - Eddie doesn't want to choose a word to describe it, because the word that comes to mind is giddy, or excited, and he's not going to get his hopes up that Steve is giddy at the prospect of their weekly hang-out-and-get-high night, so he just mumbles a goodbye and turns to leave. Robin calls out a goodbye and he waves his hand, still headed for the door. It's as the door is closing behind him that he hears Steve's final words -
"Looking forward to it, Munson!”
Jesus H. Christ.

Finally, Richie shrugs everyone off, Eddie included, and casts a sort of self-conscious glance around at them before settling again on Eddie.
“Thanks,” he says, and then, “so” – he draws the vowel out in a way that’s both reassuringly Richie-like and mild-to-moderately bizarre to hear coming out of Eddie’s own mouth – “this is fucking weird.”
“You’re telling me,” Eddie says in Richie’s voice.
(In which Richie doesn't entirely manage to shake off the unpredictable effects of the Deadlights, resulting in him and Eddie switching bodies.)
