House is struggling to determine what Wilson means to him
' House almost pitied him, even more so on how he's even stayed with him as long as he has over the years. He wishes he were a better friend, and he knew that reality would hurt so much worse if he wasn't zoning in and out from Vicodin use.
He figures he's had too much, just while grasping at the wavering sound of Wilson's voice between the ringing in his ears;
10 milligrams for a single tablet, he thinks momentarily, trying to fill in the middle of that thought beyond his drowsiness—
10…20...30…mg…
He's counting and he's thinking, but it's slow and it's drawn-out. But he thinks he's got it—-
“100mg…” House drawls out between letting his head fall back lazily against the armchair with slow breaths and tired eyes.
‘100 100 100.’
He wants to remember his limit, it's there, he's got it— but it's slipping, it's slipping and so is he. Because he can't comprehend why Wilson is staring at him the way he is, in horror he thinks—
But before House can clarify, he's fading. '

' “Hummm…Yes actually, yes that's exactly what I think you're doing!” Wilson finalized just as he unfolded his arms in exchange of placing his hand on his hip, pressed on giving House an even more skeptical look.
“Well I'm not!” House exclaimed. Waving his cane that rested beside him around in pointed protest, before becoming disinterested all for that one gesture, tossing it somewhere to the side.
“I'm a good boy.” House said proactively, just as Wilson sighed at him, inevitably wandering over to plop down just beside him on the couch in indefinite defeat of keeping this useless argument even going.
“Well…” Wilson paused as he pursed his lips in thought.
“How's the cooking going?” Wilson asked in quick change of the topic, watching as House tilted his head back, resting his neck atop the couch as he momentarily stared at the ceiling. 'Excerpt:
Wilson is suspicious that House is back to abusing Vicodin, prompting some snooping throughout their shared apartment while House is away. Fortunately for Wilson he's got his answer– fortunately for House he's got a commitment.

But knowing you're bisexual and being bisexual are two different things, especially when you've grown up with an abusive, homophobic father.
It's okay though. House has a plan. He's just going to wait for John House to die and then he'll be free to be as bisexual as he wants.

It’s getting to that point in the night where the alcohol feels like it’s lighting him up from the inside, glowing underneath his skin, and he’s starting to think he’s even more invincible than usual. And, Majima figures, someone that swaggers around Kamurocho in nothing but a blazer and skin-tight leather pants has gotta feel pretty fucking invincible already.
But even then, he’s never let himself think too hard about the way Kiryu looks at him sometimes, after a long, knuckle-bruising fight, skin slick, chest heaving, pupils dark with something he can’t quite pick out; the way Kiryu’s gaze catches on the corner of his mouth, when Majima runs a tongue over the blood on his bottom lip, staring for longer than anyone’s ever had the guts to; the way Kiryu grunts, low and rough from the back of his throat, when Majima’s hand is on his neck and Majima’s knee wedged between his thighs.
