Summary
When Adora is hurt during a routine mission, her connection to She-ra is fractured, leaving her unable to heal her injuries. Recovery will be a long and painful process, but Catra and her friends are there to make sure she doesn't have to deal with it on her own.
The real question is; how can she bring She-ra back, and is it worth the risk to bring her back at all?

They point to a small table across the banquet hall with four people sitting at it. There’s a muscular blonde woman with large purple veins covering her exposed arms, a pale man with blue hair and pointy ears, a woman wearing a long robe and a mask that covers her entire face, and a man with white slicked-back hair that goes down to his shoulders. All four of them have red eyes and very sharp fangs.
It’s then that Catra hears Double Trouble speak again, “Those are the Horde representatives. They’re all vampires.”
Catra turns back to them, “What’s the Horde? And what’s… a vampire?”

Because, yeah, we’ve always been friends and we slept in the same lodging for years - sometimes we even shared the same bed - but now I’m not sharing the bed with a friend; now I’m sharing it with my… my..."Adora started to stammer, as if she couldn’t put the syllables together to form the word she wanted to say.
"I’m sorry, I didn’t get the last word, Adora. Your... what?” Catra smirked, casually inspecting her fingernails. Despite the relief of finally understanding all the reasons behind Adora's distress, seeing her stumble over the words was just priceless and Catra wanted to make the most of it.
