Summary
Once the fire was crackling, Simon pulled out the hot dogs he’d brought. Tomorrow, he’d fish. But for tonight, he wanted something easy. He roasted the hot dogs until they were slightly charred, the smell of them mingling with the wood smoke in the cool evening air. When he was done, he made sure the fire was completely out and crawled into his tent for the night. Unaware that he was being watched.
Soap had always been too curious for his own good. From the moment he was a pup, his family had made sure to remind him of that fact. His mother, especially, had often scolded him for poking around places he wasn’t supposed to be, or for sneaking off to watch things he had no business observing.

Summary
From “The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows” by John Koenig, as was voted upon—
Ochisia, “the fear that the role you once occupied in someone’s life could be refilled without a second thought, which makes you wish that every breakup would include a severance package, a non-complete clause, and some sort of romantic placement program.”After a successful mission, the team stumbles upon Gary Roach Sanderson, a sergeant thought to have died years ago after a betrayal. Ghost had survived that incident but carried the guilt until meeting Soap, where he had learned to forgive himself. However, upon finding Roach, he begins to withdraw from Soap, and unfortunately the team follows suit unknowingly. As any good team, they simply want to help Roach and ensure his safety and progress. They all knew him of course, all but Soap.
(The classic “Roach replaces Soap” but with a twist. This is from my twitter threads.”)Bookmarked by Alakk

Summary
The idea of one of his parents laying hands on him simply because he wanted to fucking talk made him nauseous in a way he had never thought possible. But his commanding officers made up for it, laying their own rough, calloused hands and words on him– scarring him both physically and emotionally. He was a quick learner, with a remarkable sense of self preservation. He wasn’t going to let something he knew he should have fixed on his own get in the way of him doing what was right, fighting for what was right– even if deep down he knew the injustices he faced from his peers and leaders wasn’t.
After that, it didn’t take long for him to decide to be better. To prove everyone wrong.

Summary
Arthur Morgan makes a different choice, and it turns the whole story on its head. Maybe thieves can adapt, and learn to live in a changing world. Maybe the world just needs a different kind of criminal. And maybe those that don't try to find a different way will be left behind.

Summary
What if Luke Skywalker wasn’t the one who answered Grogu’s call within the force? What if it was Cal Kestis instead? This story will explain just that.
(This is just a stand-in until I come up with a much better summary to use)
