Katsuki grabbed Izuku’s ankle mid air from an errant kick and twisted, sending a yelping Izuku spinning suddenly. “What?”
“I said,” Izuku panted from the floor, crab walking quickly backwards to stay out of Katsuki’s range, “I think you can. Become the top agent here, I mean. If anyone can, it’d be you.”
“You-” Make me so mad, Katsuki didn’t say. You get under my skin like no one else ever has. You burrowed there decades ago and you never left, you stupid, annoying, piece of shit.
“But,” Izuku cut in, huffing around something that was almost a smirk, “I’ll do my best to give you a run for your money, Kacchan.”it's been years since katsuki has seen izuku in person - and he'd like to keep it that way. life seems to have other plans, however - when izuku is assigned to be katsuki's partner on his next mission.
