Summary
In 1891 Diego Brando won the Steel Ball Run race. In occasion of its anniversary a new edition is hosted many years later and as the competition nears, he is determinate to join once again. Little does he know that you, the heir of the famous Joestar family and his former friend, rival, companion and beloved, are too.
Or, alternatively: an AU of SBR with you in Johnny’s place where you race against Diego, trying to mend your disastrous relationship with him (and experiencing the joys, sorrows and the angst provided by the enemies/lovers trope in the meantime)
(This fic refers loosely to some of the events of Steel Ball Run, therefore spoilers of this part are present.)
