You shouldn’t have looked and he shouldn’t have been there.

But Fate can have a funny sense of humor. The punchline that night? Stumbling onto your naked Captain in a hot spring… and doing something about it.

Notes: this fic literally ticks every box for me in a canon compliant levi/reader. The tension and chemistry is woven beautifully into the plot and makes the payoff even all the more amazing. Will definitely be coming back to this whenever i want to read something deliciously indulgent and satisfying.

    Summary

Eventually, the scenery outside changes from mostly houses to mostly fields and trees as you reach the edge of town. You’ve lived in this little podunk place for most of your life, so even as Zeke turns onto back roads that lead toward the country, you still know where you are, and you have a good idea of where he’s taking you. Your suspicions are confirmed when he pulls up to the little white church nestled between crop fields. It’s not that you particularly want to be reminded of the concept of God right now, but at least the parking lot is secluded, private. No one else has any reason to come by here this late.

“So. You gonna tell me what’s going on, or are we just gonna shoot the shit?”

    --
When the new-parent stress becomes too much, you decide late one night that you just need to get out for a while. Thankfully, Zeke is back in town.

Notes: this one-shot amazingly lays out a rich history for its central characters. It’s well-written, tantalizing, and gut-wrenching all at once.

    Summary

You're dreading Christmas break. So is he. Turns out, the only way to make it tolerable for the both of you is to pretend to be dating over the holidays.

Levi's family is full of narcissists and assholes, and yours is nosy and a pain in the ass. Having a girlfriend makes Levi look a bit more put together and gets him away from his relatives' nagging, and having a boyfriend stops the complaints of your parents and aunts about when you're going to start taking dating seriously. It's mutually beneficial: and that's all it's supposed to be. Right? No feelings necessary.

    ...Right?

    ...Right?
Notes: i exploded from how cute this is. Excellent execution of the fake dating trope, with juicy helpings of confused feelings, heartfelt moments, and good dialogue.
