Javy and Nat have insisted they all hang out at some point in front of them. It's also not like they don't have the same last names. Bob just uses their mom's maiden name and Jake uses their dads so it's easier to differentiate them.

So, it didn't really surprise him how bad his first day at the Pitt went. Having crushed his finger under a patient was nothing. He couldn’t remember the number of times a cow had stepped on his fingers while playing on the ground as a child. Being repeatedly soiled by fluids, may they be blood, piss or worse? Animals didn't care about other people's feelings. Losing a patient? He had grown up on a farm. Death wasn’t unknown. Death was an odd uncle, always lurking around, waiting for the opportunity to snatch the cutest sheep, the gentlest horses, the weakest neighbors who couldn’t handle the field.
