Summary
Dean Winchester, Esq. never really wanted to be part of the family business. But, here he is, working at his father’s NYC law firm, being told to represent some Church whose head priest allegedly stole thousands of donated dollars from parishioners. One day, lost and confused, Dean wanders into the Church confessional, finding solace in a faceless voice. Later that night, Dean wanders out of a bar with a lonely stranger - only to wake up and realize that the body that spent the night in his bed was the same shadowy figure behind the confessional screen.
Dean soon learns that Father Castiel Novak knows all the Church’s secrets and wants to expose Father Chuck Shurley and everyone else there – but after one of the nuns, Sister Isabella, is found dead after knowing too much, Castiel and Dean have to figure out how to lose this case for the Church while making sure Castiel isn’t the next victim of the truth.

Summary
It’s 1973, and it’s the middle of spring, and each passing day is warmer than the one before it. The troops are returning from Vietnam in droves, and the American shores they stumble upon are just a little more accepting of homosexuality than the ones they left all those years ago. But Father Castiel Novak has never even stepped foot out of Salvation, let alone out of the Midwest, and as the only priest in this very small town, he’s determined to remain in the closet until his very last breath.
Things take a turn when Salvation’s newest resident confesses to having urges for other men. Dean Winchester wastes no time in asserting himself as both intolerably arrogant and an ungodly temptation, and Castiel’s only defense is to keep his distance. Despite his best efforts, a friendship still ensues, and it’s a very slippery slope then, with things going from bad to worse when Dean offers his self-proclaimed good hands to help bring Castiel’s family home back to life.

Dean Winchester finally has his shit together: business is booming at his auto repair shop, he's eating healthy (okay, he's eating salad with bacon bits), he's exercising (in a cemetery). He's single, but he's claiming it as a good thing. And so what if Sam's not talking to him? So what if his dad is marrying an insane artist? And so what if the priest marrying them is hot as hell with a name that sounds like a sin just to say it — Castiel?
AKA: another Fleabag fic, but maybe it'll have a happy ending. Maybe.

Summary
After losing his entire family in one night, Dean is completely alone in the world. One week later, he attempts to take his life. Fortunately, he doesn't go through with it, but he chooses to confess everything to a Catholic priest.
Father Castiel Novak quickly becomes Dean's closest friend, helping Dean find ways to heal and rediscover the joy in life. Dean really likes Castiel, more than he could have ever imagined. And Castiel seems to care about Dean just as much.
In the end, Dean and Castiel realize they're two lonely souls who really needed each other.
