Summary
Taehyung stopped in front of him and reached out, his slender fingers finding Jungkook’s chin, gently tilting his head back to an uncomfortable angle to come face to face with him. “You missed me,” he echoed lowly, amused. His fingers brushed Jungkook’s jawline. “You know, you’re cute when you don’t pretend you don’t need me.”
The touch was soft, almost kind, but the contact burnt Jungkook’s skin cold, sending an aching shiver through his body. He made a sound despite himself, feeling his eyes well up again, his vision blurring as he looked up.
He was swimming in the unease already, and all he wanted was to be drowned in it. He needed Taehyung to take the noise away, the way he always did.
“I want…” he started, his voice weaker than it had been a minute ago.
“I know what you want, sweetheart,” Taehyung cut him off. He sounded so melodic, the way words rolled from his lips was so easy and musical. “You want me to take you. I will.”
