Summary
Somehow, a while after the Lightners had left the Darkners, a little Lightner arrives in the Card Kingdom with no explanation and no viable ways to get her back - at least, not immediately. She ends up growing up in the Card Castle with the other Darkners after the Kings think over keeping her or sending her back for far too long, bringing a tiny spark of hope to the Dark World… that one day, the Lightners might return.
