"I'm delighted you joined us, Miss Granger," she said with visible pleasure.
"Hermione is just fine," the young witch assured quickly.
Henry knew what his mother was thinking. He didn't correct her. Not that he would engage in a relationship with Hermione. Well... if she were a dentist, he could, but a full-time witch? Not a chance.OR
Harry Potter quickly adjusted to living with the Dursleys. He quickly adapted their norms as his own.
Hogwarts? No, thank you. I'll be an Oxford-educated lawyer, let's be serious.
But what if deleting such a huge part of his identity wasn't really a good idea? Or was it? -

Summary
The loved ones want us to live. The loved ones convinced Harry not to sacrifice himself. He instead made a deal with Tom, offering whatever he had for his life and peace.
Five years later, Harry is a Quidditch star, happy and carefree, even if some people call him a traitor for handing the Ministry in the hands of the You-Know-Who. But Harry doesn't care about much at this point. And there's no You-Know-Who or Voldemort or The Boy Who Lived as far as Harry is concerned.
And everything is peachy until the Minister of Magic wishes him to grow up finally and undertake his responsibilities. So they struck another deal. And Harry's life changes again.
Because Kreacher is persistent, and Hermione isn't always right.
Because Malfoys can just grow on you, and peacocks are kinda pretty.
Because the Minister is hot, and the Statue of Secrecy is broken.

Summary
Harry Potter is a troubled teen, and that is not a great mystery to those who meet him. But he's the Golden Boy, the Saviour, so it would seem that such a person cannot reach a breaking point, right? Harry can always deal with difficult situations, isn't that true? Of course, Albus Dumbledore is not happy about Harry's recent behaviour, but he's not overly concerned. He believes that a little scolding (preferably coming from someone other than Albus) will do everything that's to be done. And if Harry is not happy with Albus at the moment, it's surely a matter of proper conversation. Isn't it?
What Albus doesn't know is that only one thing of the above is true in the case of Harry: he can always deal with difficult situations. So when Harry quietly breaks and falls into pieces, his downfall starts unnoticed, and the problems go wild, Harry finds a way to deal with the problem.
Just completely different than Albus would imagine.
Harry finds refuge in the care of the ancient vampire, under the wings of Immortals, and gets himself into more trouble, even though he thinks Harry Potter's problems are a thing of the past.

But as Albus left, there was no one to tell Gellert that he shouldn't do something. He broke the rules of Magic again, this time to make this little miracle of his. He got even more than he bargained for because Magic always has a price.
Harry wasn't Harry anymore. But he finally had a happy childhood. Mostly. He also had a mission to accomplish: to make his parents work together, to find and tame a very special child, and to win the lost war. Or else...
But you know, no pressure.

Tom Riddle has split his soul so many times that he can no longer produce any offspring the natural way. He doesn’t want a child, just like he doesn’t want to be married to Bellatrix. Theirs was a marriage of convenience. But, alas, the Ministry elections are coming up and raising a baby would appeal to the Lighter families wouldn't it?
So, Tom decides to go the magical route and implant a baby inside of his wife using their conjoined family magics in a ritual. He's the rightful Heir of Slytherin and Bellatrix is sure that she’s the Heir of House Black. There’s no doubt about it after Sirius was disowned and Regulus refused the heirship.
But something goes wrong. Bellatrix does not get pregnant. Because unbeknownst to everyone except Sirius who was really drunk at the time, she is not the true heir. Harry Potter is. He's also still very much a virgin. Oops?
