Nandor and Guillermo have been divorced for six long, long years. Of course, they were never married in the first place, not in any other way than in practice; That would have required an aptitude for interpersonal reciprocity that Nandor simply has never thought himself to be capable of.
So to put it more accurately — more honestly, perhaps — it has been six years since Guillermo left Nandor to pursue a human life. But honesty was never Nandor's strong suit, either.
Or: AU in which instead of going to Derek in the end of season 4, Guillermo just left.

Summary
Al Ghūl (الغول) is an Arabic name that translates to "the demon," "the ogre," or "the devourer" and originates from Persian folklore, where a ghūl is a fearsome creature that feeds on human flesh and is often associated with deserts and desolate places. This is the story of how Nandor, once the greatest ottoman war general alive, got turned into a blood-thirsty and violent creature of the night.
