Summary

A dark fantasy story with horned beasts, self-destruction, magicians, a spiral into violence, swearing, a pregnant trans guy, overindulgence in semicolons, weird sex, elaborate metaphors, run-on sentences, too many fantasy titles, fucked-up blood magic, and no romance whatsoever. Characters include a trans guy with anger issues, what happens when you force an autistic closeted transfem into a fantasy kingdom, a foul-mouthed nonbinary magician, and a terminally optimistic knight. Come for the mpreg, stay for the vague horror at the mpreg guy's descent into violent revenge.

Summary
Western Germany, the American side of the line, in a bookstore, Alfred F. Jones and Ludwig Beilshmidt. Even books without a happy ending deserve to be printed. Alfred works for the occupying American forces, and commandeers Ludwig's printing presses.
"I think this is them," Elizaveta whispered again--why was she whispering? It was a holdover from the last few years--and dashed away from the window, back to the counter. Elizaveta's fists were knotted into the folds of her skirts as she stared at the bookstore's door. Ludwig glanced from her to it as a blond man swung the door open hard enough to make the glass shake. He winced.
"Gutentag," the American said, smiling to them both as two more soldiers entered the little shop behind him. Ludwig winced once more, this time for the awfully accented German. The stranger turned to one of the soldiers then without waiting for Ludwig's reply. "Can you tell them that I'm with the Information Control Division of the U.S. Army?"

Summary
“Well? Say something, you fat fuck!” Junkrat grabs Hog’s shirt and gives it a rough pull, feigning like he could actually intimidate someone three times his size. He’s stopped smiling, his eyes going wide and buggy as he yanks on Roadhog’s t-shirt helplessly. “It’d be a real hoot, don’cha think?!”
For a few seconds, he just freezes there, this awful, pleading look on his face. ‘Tell me it’s funny’, it begs. Still, Roadhog stays quiet, letting Junkrat grab and paw at him but not moving a muscle. Finally, the kid forces one last pained grin, leaning on Roadhog until he’s resting his forehead on his collarbone.
“...I don’t wanna die."
