Summary
Cecil Stedman is used to managing risks. When he took you, a cat hybrid superhero, under his command, he had no idea what he was getting himself into.
Your first official heat outside the lab spirals fast. Cecil advises you “deal with it like normal people would”, assuming that was enough to keep you in line. Your misunderstanding turns into a genuine security risk; a one night stand with a stranger just to ease the pain. He tells himself it’s for your safety, that his sudden appearance at your apartment is about control and keeping his superhero away from potential harm.
What Cecil doesn’t plan for is the fact he ends up being the solution to your very problem.
