Summary
I am writing the fic I wish I could read, this is my first time writing a fic and English is not my first language, it is not even my second language. I am not a fan of smut, so I doubt I'll write any. I just want this story to get out of my head only for my sake, even if no one reads it. I don't consider Korra canon, so I will not include it in the story (even the references to the first avatar and whatnot).
Pretty much canon compliant, with some slight divergence (I never did quite like that Aang unlocks his chakras by deus ex rock chiropractor). Also, I am a full on adult, so I hope I can write teens in a correct way, mostly so I can show how they mature and change while they age. I do intend to cover at least a decade, if possible.

Zuko knew she’d murder him if she found out that he proposed the idea of their marriage, but he still went through with it. And he doesn’t know why.
When he’s pressured by his council and Uncle Iroh to marry and produce an heir, he first thinks of Mai but they had just recently broken up so when a name erupts to the front of his mind, he blurts it out.
Katara hates the idea of arranged marriages but for the world to prosper and unite again, she would do ANYTHING. Even marry the man that once broke her heart.

Summary
Katara breaks things off with Aang after feeling like she's been living in his shadow for the last few years. She goes on her own journey to find herself and spend time with those she cares about the most.
After staying in Ba Sing Se for a few months, she decides to go to the fire nation to see her best friend, Zuko. She quickly realizes that she has formed complicated feelings for Zuko over the years and due to that, she also realizes that is one of the main reasons why she didn't visit the fire nation for so long.
Author's Note: This is NOT a slow burn kind of story. Even though I use very tactful wording, do not be fooled. This story is going to be very smutty with lots of feelings. VERY NSFW, PLEASE READ THE TAGS
