When I say literally cured my depression I mean it actually fixed my sleep schedule (I’d hit the sack way earlier to read), gave me motivation to study so that I could read without worries, made me yearn again !!! T~T,,, made me introspect, made me set plans, made me look into therapy omg it’s so exciting so well planned
loveeeee the characterization like actually? They feel like alive and like I can see them as people truly and where their faults lie and the tension is so good,,,, I can see from each characters perspective why they would say that even if it didn’t their pov and it’s like such great writing too omg doesn’t baby the reader but still is made in such a way that I can still truly understand each character like omggg idk they have so much depth too
The tense scenes are soooo amazing like I’m laying in bed heart actually pounding omg 😭😭
Idk what to say it’s like the best thing just like in general I’ve experienced recently like in the last year I’ve never felt better

I’ve read this quite a few times. It does so so much for me - I feel seen in ways I don’t know how to articulate (I feel alive?!!! :) - but also there’s literally this one line in it that makes me feel so loved. So incredibly loved that everytime I read it I sit with the sentence for a few moments - long enough that my eyes adjust to the dark. What a lovely piece of work.
