Usually, when faced with one of Harry's non sequiturs, Kim would intentionally force his face to remain neutral, carefully hiding either confusion or a grin.
This time however, he opened his mouth to speak, then stopped himself before a single word left his lips. His eyebrows creased in a look of intense concentration, while his gaze went right through Harry, then snapped back into focus. Before the lieutenant was able to reign in his expression again, something flickered over his face.

Summary
It’s late morning by the time the overnight train arrives in Glasgow, and they make it to the flat closer to early afternoon. The first day back always tends to be the most tedious – with the spring cleaning and the grocery shopping and the unpacking. It almost feels like a blur to Ghost, and he would prefer civilian time to stay that way. The less time he’s wasting being in the moment, the better.
Of course, Soap’s about to ruin that.

Summary
The physical pain was fucking slight in comparison to the internal agony that twisted through him once he was relatively out of sight. The disgrace choked him–the longing. The wishing. The wishing that was just as shameful as his inability to perform basic fucking tasks.
Wishing, wishing that he knew what’d made Ghost pay attention to him that night. What had made him offer himself that one precious time. Wishing he knew how to recreate the circumstances.
Because all he wanted was the affection that he didn’t think Ghost would ever offer him again. Could ever really offer him. Soap wondered if he’d imagined the whole thing. He wondered if he begged…if he begged, would Ghost tell him?
