Summary
Furry AU: Basically everything (when it comes to plot and setting) is the same, the characters are just anthro animals. There's a bit of worldbuilding to account for the differing anatomy and species-based quirks, because I'm a stickler for details.
Makoto Makimura's savior is a gigantic beast. As in, sharp teeth, can easily snap her neck without even trying.
Majima's surprised, because the little rabbit doesn't seem particularly terrified of him. Even throughout all of this nonsense.
And one day, he's more surprised, because she trusts him a lot.

Summary
AU where everything plot related is the same - settings, characters, source material - except I made the cast into an anthropomorphic animal. That means there's also a bit of worldbuilding, but it's additive information.
This is marked as a series just so I can keep it in a neat little corner and do any important linking to get some background info set up. I want to do more, but I'm just starting out to see if anyone would even be interested in this sort of thing.
If you're curious: the "inspiration" for this AU is simple; I draw fanart of the cast as anthros on days I can't draw humans, but still want to draw them. That also means I imagine them in a furry sense. That does occasionally lend to certain scenarios that can't be possible for humans. It's a crass example, but: humans can't knot their partners with their own genitals.
In those scenarios, this series is for that. If the idea for the fic is anything possible for humans, it's probably not going to be a furry AU fic.

Majima laughed. It was several octaves lower than the trilling cackle that Kiryu had come to expect whenever he roamed Kamurocho’s back alleys — the high-pitched promise of a fist-fight yet to come. This time, Majima chuckled low and breathy from the back of his throat, and Kiryu shifted slightly on his haunches, not knowing exactly why the sound collected in the coiled heat between his thighs.
“Oh? S’that why you’re sittin’ on me, instead?”
