Being under the command of a spawnpoint is a big important responsibility—you hold in your hands the future generations of the inpherno… After the Darkage Clan took control over the region, Thieve’s Den, the borders were permanently closed, not allowing any inphernal from the region or foreigners to enter or leave.
Even so, that couldn’t stop something stronger, invisible—something that appears with a glance; attraction, or even love.-
AU where entering and leaving Thieve’s Den is forbidden and illegal, and even so, that didn’t manage to prevent the closeness between a member of that clan and a foreign criminal.

—“Because it shouldn’t be, Sling.”— he interrupted, placing the bowl on the counter. He took a step toward him, removing his hands from his face—“Or also because you’re comparing yourself to someone who’s no longer here.”
That was a crushing blow to Slingshot, his whimpering increasing with the reminder Coil had given.
—“But it’s not because you’re worse.”— he continued, letting go of one of Slingshot’s hands to adjust his headband—“It’s because you’re not that person.”
Slingshot remained silent, not doing anything to him or pushing him away, only forcing him into a tight embrace; continuing to shed tears on his neck.
Coil accepted the hug, responding with a soft and gentle touch—"...It's okay if it doesn't turn out exactly the same."— his voice slowed down, adopting a friendlier and softer tone—"But keep trying to make it identical? Tch, it ruins all of that."
