Summary
This was a story I started writing three years ago and then abandoned it. After replaying Mass Effect 2, I decided to finish it.
While on a mission to recover a supply cache, Shepard uses an untested heavy weapon with unexpected results. The blast from the weapon ends up shorting out the squad's translators. Shepard finds the situation annoying, but manageable. During this time, Shepard feels compelled to reveal her true feelings for Garrus, knowing he cannot understand her. Or can he?

Summary
Originally published in 2017 and put on hiatus to deal with real life. I recently (2022) updated some chapters to provide better descriptions, and adjust relationships to make my intent more clear. I also plan to add about a chapter each month.
This is a collection of drabbles, primarily centered around Camber Cousland, Nathaniel Howe, and Rendon Howe. They will be posted as I write them, and not necessarily in chronological order.
I mentioned Rendon -- Arl Howe, as most people call him. I've taken a liking to writing from his perspective, and "turning the monster into a man," as a dear friend put it. Please don't flame me for it. Mind the tags and archive warnings, which will be updated as I write.
