Summary
Being stuck working at a pharmacy is never too much fun, especially a shady pharmacy owned by an even shadier doctor. What's even worse is that you're stuck in this hellhole until you can afford that nice apartment a few states away. Flu season has come around and it seems like the flow of patients never ends.
Having a nice drink after work doesn't seem too bad. A nice bottle of some cheap wine is good enough for now. You begin to doze off on your couch while watching the news. You faintly hear something about some incident in the next town over but you ignore it. Surely that rattling noise at your window is just the wind.
Oh, it seems like you've just remembered that you forgot to lock the window.

Hey guys! I found this on Wattpad by Apple_Chips. The account seems to be inactive now but if they ask me to take this down I will! The original though was written by ValentinesDayGreen on Quotev. They have apparently left the fandom but if they ask me to take this down I will too. For now I’ve only made a male reader version as opposed to the fem!reader original. I might work on other pronouns later but this is a super long and amazing book so enjoy this for now.
