Hayden likes to consider himself a good father and a considerate husband. When Jackie mentioned that her sisters are planning a girls’ trip in Toronto, he didn’t hesitate in encouraging her to go, to stay the whole week, even when she started making noises about coming home early while her sisters head to the Falls for a couple days. Hayden is perfectly capable of and accustomed to taking care of his own kids while his wife enjoys a weekend at a spa with the WAGs or some family time a few hours away. He knows the length of time is making Jackie nervous, but he also knows she’s missed Maggie since she started her masters program in Chicago. Jackie’s always been close to her sisters, but Maggie is the only younger sibling Jackie has, and he knows that relationship is special to her. It would have been fine, too, if he was home with four healthy children and not four miserable children exhibiting flu-like symptoms.
Or, the Pike kids get sick while Jackie is away for a few days and Hayden calls in reinforcements in the form of his best friend and his best friend’s boyfriend, who turns out to be not so bad after all.

Summary
It's Shane Hollander's first season in Ottawa, and the whole Centaurs roster is playing better than they ever have. So why won't the press focus on that? Why do he and Ilya keep having to answer questions about their marriage, and not get to talk about the incredible start to the season that their team is having? Maybe if they do one podcast, with hosts who are normal people, they can just tell their whole story and focus on bringing the Stanley Cup to Ottawa.

Summary
When Ilya moves to the Centaurs, the number 81 is already taken. So, in true Ilya Rozanov fashion, he picks the number 24. People think he's just being an asshole, which is true, but he also does it to have Shane with him all the time.
Of course, years later, Shane transfers to Ottawa. And lo and behold, the player who had number 81 retired, so when Shane has to choose a number?
81 is available.
