So if we take that literally, which we will, that means this decree is only applicable for one potential partner." He hummed when he found what he needed, and he started rolling up his letter. "Secondly, she never specified who's hand."
Lighter listened intently, but after Wise finished speaking, it only took a few seconds for realisation to set in. When it did, it was quickly followed by utter disbelief.
”You didn’t…”
Wise gazed at him from under his silvery lashes, and despite his smile, his eyes remained firm and steadfast, like the high and low tides of the ocean; coming and going as nature intended.
"No wonder Her Majesty was so angry with you." Lighter shook his head, brows pinched in equal parts exasperation and frustration. "You're planning on staking your own hand in marriage."

Tsukasa sensed a strange energy emanating from the man, staring intently into his yellow eyes, somewhat lost in thought. However, this moment was broken when the other man looked at him. "I've never seen you around here, I saw you talking to Miyake, so I guess you two know each other." the purple-haired man said, opening his soda and taking a sip.
"Ah.. Uh.. I don't usually come here at this hour, I was just taking a walk–"
"2 AM?" The taller man chuckled. "I see..."
'What kind of expression is that?!'
"Excuse me?" The blond makes a confused face.
The purple-haired man's gaze grows heavier as he looks him up and down, making Tsukasa feel confused and strange.
“Well, I should introduce myself.. I’m Rui Kamishiro, you can just call me Rui! I don’t mind honorifics!” The man nods with a brazen and strangely suspicious smile.
"Tsukasa Tenma, you can just use Tsukasa..." the blond boy looked away, trying not to pay attention to the heavy feeling those yellow eyes were conveying to him.
