You hadn’t ever really considered that, or even thought about artichokes all that much before this point, but ever since learning of his long journey to making the artichoke dip you couldn’t help but find his passion for it endearing, as well as associating the weird little vegetables with him.
“No I didn’t, that is pretty neat though. Do the flowers have a meaning?”
You both made your way towards the first aisle on your list, the things you’d need for crackers and bread to try the dip with.
“I think every flower has a mean-ing. I bee-lieve these ones are…hope?”
“Well I for one hope we can find them on this shopping trip.” You grinned. “And HOPEfully we don’t have a repeat of your last time trying to do this, yeah?”
