Ashveil's hand let go of his cheek and was now slowly stroking behind his ear. A little bit more and Aventurine would start to purr.
Boothill's hands at the same time wrapped around his waist. And when Aventurine felt a gentle kiss behind his other ear, he finally couldn't manage to suppress a quiet wimper.
He could almost sense Boothill's mocking smile with his temple.
"Hmm, we'll have to return to the... "official meeting" proceedings." Ashveil leaned closer again.
"Which would be a shame, honestly."
Where Aventurine gets positively railed, Ashveil ovedoing it a bit, and Boothill is just here for the fun of it. This is definitely not how your negotiations with Galaxy Rangers should go.

The kid stares at him. For a second, Boothill thinks he spots a glimmer of something in those deep-well eyes.
His hand’s nothing but skin and bone, but it barely shakes when it settles in Boothill’s mechanical palm. “Where do we start?” He asks.
