God, this fic really highlights Sylvain’s self deprecation, it is so good with characterizing him. The fact that he would use sex as validation and allow himself to go through with having it with Felix, despite him believing that he’s just being used as a replacement. It is believable and it is so upsetting in a good way. The plot is simple but it is engaging and it kept me hanging on until the very last word. I’m glad it had a happy ending as well.

A gem a friend of mine recommended to me, after my persistence of trying to find Dottolone fics to read. The pacing in this fic is phenomenal, the writing itself is a pleasure to read and my favourite part of it all is the banter between the two characters. It feels realistic, witty, and it’s definitely a strength the author of this should feel confidence in, as they got their relationship across and its development with even just the dialogue on its own, and that’s not always easy to accomplish. The raw, carnality in the descriptions of Pantalone’s vampire-ness is another strength that I felt myself leaving with. Overall, I’d recommend this, well done.

A friend introduced me to this one, and while I would normally never read a fic that is incomplete unless it has been updated recently, my friend said that this one had really inspired them, so I gave it a shot. I hate them now for it. Haha. In all honestly, this fic is so incredible and has you searching for more! I just hate that it’s been left without an update despite the grabbing plot and the mysteries still left unanswered. Seeing these two’s relationships develop was also a fun time, and while at first I was not a fan of the slow pace, I think that looking back on it now it actually made me continue to read on and get more into the story. So I found that it actually worked in this fics favour. With the current state of events their relationship is finally progressing somewhere!.. it’s just that, now it’s left unfinished. If author happens to stumble upon this, I’d love to see more, really, this fic is delightful and I just want to know what happens! (21/?)

I read this a couple years back, and even now I still think about it. I lament that there isn’t any new chapters to read and that I believe it’s probably going to remain unfinished, but even so, this sweet fic shows a lot of father-son/parental love that I think is very endearing. :,) ever since reading this I have believed that this would be a more or less accurate representation of Keith’s childhood with his single father, (save for the omegaverse of course, which isn’t necessary but I believe adds some sort of interest. You hardly see omegaverse fics that don’t centre around rape culture and “big strong alpha + small petite clueless omega,”) you especially don’t always see an omegaverse fic that doesn’t solely centre on an intimate main pairing. I really like this one!
