A collection of old drabbles and smaller writing works I have done for a character I took on roleplaying when I was in elementary school and still part of the MMX fandom.
When I wrote as him, I developed pretty much everything about him outside of what's known from the game series and whatnot over a very long time to make him truly my own rendition. Close to ten years, if I remember correctly. He likely will come back in the form of a genuine OC at some point, but this character portal I used for him for so many years as I grew up is held extremely close to my heart and I miss writing his chaos SO much. He helped me get through very rough, very dark times in my young life. He was my outlet. Writing was my outlet as a whole.
As an up front warning, my Nightmare Zero is NOT for the weak of heart or mind. He is brutal. Violent. Manipulative. Overall, he is batshit insane and has a split personality. I took everything I had experienced and felt and crammed it into him. He was my emotional vessel AND protective armor for that part of my life. My personified heart behind a shattered window that pierced it too many times for me to recall.
I just learned to become stained glass.

Summary
Hanahaki Disease is an illness born of unrequited love, in which flowers bloom in the victim's lungs, causing them to cough flower petals. While relatively benign at first glance, the infection rapidly spreads throughout the body until it overtakes major organs and leads to the victim's death. It has only two cures: when the victim's feelings are returned, or through surgical removal, which has the unintended consequence of causing the victim's feelings for their love to disappear.
