Kremy huffed, “Come on man, this is serious.”
Gideon smirked, settling back into their easy back and forth, “I am serious Kremy, serious about kicking ass.”----
Instincts took over as Gideon crossed the campsite with immense speed. The bandit almost made it to Kremy, blade raised high above his head, Gideon dove in front of the blade’s path. The knife left a deep jagged cut in his side.
The curse was quickly spreading, a cold evil overtaking his very being. He heaved and protectively cupped his side; stunned he stared at the blood and ichor seeping through his fingers.Gideon began to sway, the pull of gravity becoming stronger and stronger.
Arms wrapped around his waist to steady him, but it wasn’t enough.
He wasn’t awake long enough to feel himself lowered to the ground, his consciousness leaving him as he was wracked with an all-encompassing agony.----
Gideon takes a cursed knife for Kremy and lands in a waking nightmare.
