For one dizzy moment, Sasuke imagined himself marching back into Naruto’s apartment, throwing open her broken bathroom door, and biting her then and there in the shower. Then he cleared his throat, shook his head to clear it, and admitted, “Yeah, I do.”

After the war, Naruto finally had things kind of figured out. She was training in the Hokage tower, spending time with her important people... Building a life for herself. She'd even accepted her asexuality.
Presenting as an omega was not part of the plan. Suppressants not working for her was certainly not part of the plan. Needing alphas, plural, as soon as possible, was DEFINITELY not part of the fucking plan.

It was a bad idea right…to try and get a live-in job working for a man that made you want to cream your pants—especially when said man was married and looking for a nanny. The pay however…the pay made him do a double take.
He figured he was always underestimated, people always thought women were better caretakers so they might not even call him, why not leave it up to destiny? Submit the application, he’d either be called or he wouldn’t.
Well now it was too late to think that those had been some stupid critical thinking skills.
