He’s retired now. Supposed to be relaxing. Instead, he's wrangling two war orphans, pretending he’s fine, and trying not to cry in museums. Then he finds a tiny tea shop run by someone too friendly for post-war reality. She smiles too much. Her desserts have ridiculous names. She keeps giving him tea for free.
