  Summary

  Sire-fledglings bonds are rare, a gift. Humans are too fragile, most of them don't get to the other side of it, the sire must be living just to fulfill the needs of their baby vampire. Teach them how to control their brand new features, keep their needy creature happy and satiate hunger with their own blood. That's too much for most modern vampires who already did that centuries ago.
  Plus, Grigori Rozanov discovered a more efficient way to bear stronger vampires: birthing them. Ilya is the half-living proof of this theory: he's as powerful as an original cursed one, sharp-mind, exquisite face, a legend among his kind. The perfect Rozanov heir, a future leader.
  Of course the theory has holes. Yes, Ilya's mother died during his birth, the vampire baby drying her from the inside. Of course, it was very dangerous to try to replicate the miracle, no sire would take such risk. But the Hollander coven, Rozanov's eternal rival, are just as worthy as them, right?
  Oh, how unlucky for them to receive a strong heart creature. Some sweet pink-cheeked baby. A full human boy. Even worse: a human boy born with a strong scent that could only be described as... Ilya's.
