Summary
After falling out of touch (which Brad would like everyone to know is just a thing that happens to adults and is not indicative of his own problems regarding communication with other human beings) Brad and Ray are thrown together during a destination wedding for one of their own. Bickering, name-calling, scheming, hijinks and romance ensue.
Inspired by Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, and more recently, the film Anyone But You, which is very silly but very sweet, and made me want to write my own spin for BradRay.

Summary
Ray looks up at all the constellations that light up the sky, and he thinks about the largeness of the universe, and how insignificant everyone is, in the grand scheme of things. That used to scare him when he was a kid, like nothing really mattered because they might as well be specks of dust in the cosmic order of things. But now Ray thinks, maybe it matters more, because of the huge unlikeliness of even existing in the first place. How many things had to go right in the chaos of all these different realms for him to end up right here, on this beach, with his fucked up arm and his best friend’s dog, on this beautiful, awful planet which keeps tearing itself apart?
Time heals almost all wounds. Ray has time, plus a pink plaster cast on his arm.
Or: Ray Person's spectacular Californian winter living on Walt Hasser's futon.

Summary
"I don't mean to come here and freak you out," Scott said, though he knew there was no avoiding it. He'd been where they were before. It had felt like he was dying, back then. "I just don't want you to think you're the only ones, okay? There's lots of us."
Their eyes snapped to him in unison, startled and intense. Hollander croaked, "What?"
"There's over sixteen hundred guys in the MLH and AHL," he reminded them, because it had felt improbable to him when he first heard until he remembered the sheer size of the hockey world. "There's — well, we don't know how many of us there are, but there's at least seventeen of us that know each other. Plus you two. We watch out for each other."
His eyes enormous, Hollander asked, "There's, what? A secret underground gay hockey network?"
Scott shrugged. "Yeah, basically."

Summary
Heated Rivalry meets Free! in this slow-burn swimming romance with messy feelings, competitive angst, and two idiots who take a decade to figure out they're in love.
They stared at each other. The anger had shifted into something else, something charged and dangerous that made Gustave's heart hammer for reasons that had nothing to do with the fight.
"I hate you," Gustave said. It came out wrong—not angry, almost desperate.
"I hate you too," Verso said, and his eyes were dark, intense, fixed on Gustave's face.Gustave Augustin has spent his entire swimming career finishing second to Verso Dessendre. At 18, they finally meet at French Nationals. The rivalry is instant. The attraction is unwanted. The hookup is inevitable.
The nine-year toxic situationship? That's where it gets complicated.
Because they have rules: just physical, no feelings, no one can know. They follow them religiously—until they can't anymore. Now they are forced to choose: keep hiding, or risk everything.

Summary
The air up here was disrespectful.
That was the first thing Kip Grady noticed when he stepped out of his dad’s beat-up Honda Civic. The air in Brooklyn had texture. It had weight. It smelled like hot asphalt, exhaust fumes, and the specific, comforting garbage funk of a Tuesday afternoon. You knew where you stood with Brooklyn air.
The air here—four hours north, deep in the "Upstate" wilderness of the university—was suspicious. It was too thin. It smelled like pine needles and aggression. It smelled like people who hiked for fun.
