Summary
Vincent has a way of noticing things, stupid irrelevant things that really shouldn't matter. Why does he have all the time in the world to worry about inconsequential 'issues' like Rody's sleeves, his posture, his lips?! Even La Gueule De Saturne shouldn't hold such high standards on trivial insignificant things.
As it turns out, that noticing is contagious.
(This is a rewrite of the uncompleted work "Maybe Pavlov was onto Something.." that I wrote in April of 2025 ( https://archiveofourown.org/works/64596547 ) which I love the idea of and want to finish.)

Summary
It’s Rody’s birthday, Valentine’s Day, and he’s miserable. After a hellish shift at the bistro, Vincent offers him a birthday gift: baba au rhum in the privacy of his flat. The cake is divine, but it’s just the appetizer. As the potent ingredients in the dessert take hold of the waiter, Rody looks at his boss and realizes he’s starving for something else entirely.

It seems his new inspiration was served to him on a silver platter in the form of the diner’s handsome waiter, Rody Lamoree.
(Like changing the genders will hide the fact that you’re obviously writing a self insert horror-romance novel about Rody and yourself.)
