After the Taumoeba leak, after I decided to die after all and turned my ship around to save Rocky, after Rocky's frantic calculations about food supplies, Taumoeba multiplication rates, and human caloric intake needs, after we realized that with some rationing and luck I would make it, but that we were headed toward the unknown territory of trying to rapid-prototype me a life support system and synthetic food supply on an inhospitable planet: after all of that, after everything, I shouldn't have been surprised that it only took a few months on board the Hail Mary for things to get weird.

“But if we do it again…” Sebastian hums, fingers tapping quick against his jaw, habitually restless. “I don’t know if you can handle it, what you’re asking for.”
Jacob can tell he’s being goaded. He’s played this game before. He practically invented this game. “And what is it that I apparently can’t handle?”
“The pretty boy treatment,” says Sebastian, and a small part of Jacob stirs, a breeze shifting over embers.
Jacob goes for round two and learns some things about himself in the process.

Summary
Jacob is normally very particular about his appearance, and goes out of his way to look absolutely fetching whenever he steps outside of the house. It is a point of contention at times, especially when it leads to him taking an excessively long amount to get dolled up. However, the prim and proper man, in the throes of pleasure, has no qualms with disheveled clothes, messy hair, tears streaming down his cheeks, drool dribbling out of his mouth…
And Sebastian loves it. So much so that he develops a bit of a fixation on it—sue him, he is just just a man, and a man of passion at that.
Or: Sebastian Wilder is really, really into the idea of defiling his boyfriend's image.

“You ask so many damn questions, I want you to know that,” Sebastian scoffs, angling away from the other man.
“You ask them, then,” Jacob says. He’s utterly rooted in place by how the sharp lighting makes Sebastian’s eyes a blue so clear he could drink from them, his hair being cast into the brilliant golden glow.
“Alright,” Sebastian hums, fingers tapping the neck of his cocktail glass. “Are you trying to take me home?”
Jacob is struck speechless for a moment. He hadn’t expected to be called out for his intentions so brazenly, used to playing cat and mouse with those he was trying to court.
“Yeah,” he says, having to swallow dryly to get the words to come out. “Yeah, I am.”

Simon is not prepared to see Grace in the lab that morning. Not because he wasn’t expecting him to be there, but because he wasn’t expecting the man to be in a tank top and what appear to be booty shorts that say “I’m collecting data” over his ass.
The man is hunched over the table with his head hung low. Mark stands beside him, gently rubbing his lower back as his limbs tremble, occasionally skimming his fingers under the waistband of his shorts or the hem of his shirt. He’s holding something in his other hand.
