Taehyung took in a steadying breath, centering himself on the generous inhale. 'It's now or never, Taehyung,' he thought quietly, and then strode around the corner without further preamble. The rhythmic sound of his shoes hitting the floor bounced off the titanium steel walls of the corridor, strong gait betraying absolutely nothing of what he was about to do. The content of his breast pocket seared its presence right over his heart.
Taehyung knew he was being stupid.
So, so stupid.
Quite possibly rivaling his stupidity from five years ago, even, when he had unwittingly committed himself to something he had no idea what actually entailed.

Kim Taehyung had never coped well when there was an angry alpha around, no matter that he wasn't the object of their fury. Wisely choosing to keep his mouth shut, he ignored the flaring annoyance building up inside of his chest at being treated like a frail and delicate porcelain doll who did not know any better, once again.
He was not frail.

He was nowhere near ignorant.
"And how do you suggest we do this?" Alpha Jeon asked eventually, suddenly looking old beyond his years when he had correctly grasped that Alpha Kim would not be the first to open his mouth in this conversation.
"How else, Alpha Jeon," Alpha Park said easily, an eerie smile taking over her lips as she regarded both Kings with a level look. "Just like we have sealed our alliances with one another, of course."

Taehyung was feeling bored.
The four of them had always done the same thing on movie nights, watched whatever shitty, B-rated movie they could find together whilst sharing a mound of popcorn—the favourite beverage of the week within the lax grip of their hands. Which was all very sweet, indeed, but Taehyung reckoned it was about time he did something to turn their routine less... quaint.
(Or: Taehyung finally gathered his courage to ask Yoongi and Jimin if they wanted to fuck.)

I adore everything about this, not even exaggerating!
The way Harry did his best to always communicate his feelings even when he didn't particularly want to, and how Draco was equally as open and genuine whenever they talked and expressed their emotions freely, no matter how embarrassing, was heartwarming. Good god, this fic got me choked up on multiple occasions as I read through, especially when the two of them would take the time to explain the roots of their traumas. I found the entire happenings around how Draco became dear friends with everyone but left Harry alone, when Harry hadn't responded to his apology letter, so endearing and loving and just so respectful, it spoke worlds about the ways in which Draco had changed over the years. The fact that Harry had needed the time to process, no matter how many years, only to dive head first into it when he did come to a conclusion and realisation of his feelings, was also so convincing!
Don't even get me started on how soft Draco was for Harry. It left me breathless! This might just be my favourite story in which sub Harry feels natural and right and healthy, and the whole reason why is because how well Draco was portrayed for the role of taking care of Harry the way Harry needed it, all soft and loving and praise-filled, but with rough fucks woven in, clearly for the sole purpose to ruin me and leave me breathless! Ugh, I can't!
This was such a genuinely brilliant read, I'm sad that I read it so fast and now it's over. I could honestly read another 100k of this!
Obviously it's going in my best reads tag, for I plan on rereading this someday, that's for certain!
PS: the whole thing with the curse being so powerful it was ridiculous, and how only the strongest of wizards could ever pull it off, only to eventually come to the realisation that the curse drew power from Harry's magic was *chef's kiss* exquisite! I love me some Magically Powerful Harry! I don't even care that it was a minor detail in comparison, it still made me giddy! Who'd have thought that constant encounters with drowning and murder water could be the start of such epic romance! I burst out laughing when everyone mocked the "love is always the answer" irony of it all! How very fitting of the entire HP series!
PPS: I adored Ron's friendship with Harry! They were so *clutches chest* Best Friends Goals! Granted, everyone was absolutely amazing, but Ron stuck out the most to me!
