“Oh, Goddesses,” Tetra moans into her palms, fingers digging into her forehead, “not this again, Niko!”
“I’m just saying!” Niko defends, leaning far over the fire they built on the beach, his ale sloshing over the rim of his chipped cup and stoking the flame high enough that Nudge has to pull him away before his bandana ignites. “Have any of you ever seen the curve?”
OR
Tetra, Link, and the crew have been at sea for a decade, in search of new lands. Niko doesn’t make it easy.

“Halt!” he runs after the boy and stops him in his tracks, grabbing his shoulder to spin him around for questioning. “What business do you have trespassing on castle grounds?”
“I need to talk to Princess Zelda,” The boy’s voice is high and squeaky, which means he can’t be older than eleven, the same age as the princess herself. His tunic looks more like a dress, long and dipping past his knees like he stole it from an older brother, and his boots are a touch too large if the way he knocks the toes of them against the dirt mean anything. The triangular hat on his head certainly is strange, is this boy a member of the traveling circus performing in Castle Town’s square? “It’s a matter of the utmost importance.”

Oskar is a lowly knight stuck patrolling Hyrule Castle's hedges. Chance encounters with Princess Zelda and her future husband changes that.

“Din, Farore, and Nayru, yes.”
“What does this have to do with me?”
Something like sympathy enters Not-Saria’s eyes, green except for the way the refracting light of the forest turns them kaleidoscopic. “The Sacred Realm cannot be left unsupervised, and they’ve chosen you as my replacement. You’re going to help future Heroes reach their peace.”
