    Leonardo Hamato awoke with a start. He was in pain. His body is on fire, or so it feels. Instincts kick in quickly, check for danger, and figure out where you are and how to escape. Adrenaline kicked in as he forced his body to stand.

    The skyline of New York at night greeted him.

    This isn’t right. New York was destroyed twenty years ago.

     

    What happens when a man (turtle?) who has lived in an apocalypse for 20 years finds himself in a world where the apocalypse never happened? The brothers he watched die coming alive again, and his past self looking him in the eyes.
